From conserving resources and reducing waste to supporting local organizations and creating more inclusive experiences, we’re finding thoughtful ways to give back to Cayman.

EVERY STAY GIVES BACK

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman, in partnership with Kind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Back program, supports Inclusion Cayman. The mission of Inclusion Cayman is to champion access, dignity, and equality for all through free services, support and advocacy for individuals and families navigating intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Through our community impact program, $1 per night will fund Inclusion Cayman. 100% of funds are given to Inclusion Cayman.

Get to know Cayman beneath the surface. Our guided, small-group reef experience invites guests to explore the natural reef just steps from our shoreline, discovering vibrant marine life while building a deeper appreciation for the ocean environment that makes our island so special.

Our outdoor lighting is turtle-friendly, helping minimize artificial light on the beach that can disorient nesting turtles and hatchlings as they find their way to and from the sea.

Sea turtles are an important part of Cayman’s natural heritage. We help protect Cayman’s sea turtles through turtle-friendly practices and coordinated releases with the Cayman Turtle Centre on Seven Mile Beach, alongside our sister property, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa.

Harnessing the Cayman sunshine. Solar panels help generate renewable energy for Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman, while energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the hotel helps reduce electricity consumption.

Reusable water jugs and locally crafted ceramic glasses by 3 Girls & A Kiln can be found in every guest room. Still and sparkling water stations on every floor make refilling easy while helping reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles.

Through our participation in Beacon Farms and Island Waste Carriers’ food-waste recycling program, unavoidable food waste is diverted from landfill and transformed into nutrient-rich compost that supports local agriculture.

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is proud to participate in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, helping guests with non-visible disabilities discreetly indicate when they may need additional time, understanding or support.
